Our Employment and Career Services help Vermont women and genderexpansive individuals ages 16+ gain skills that can lead to meaningful work and financial stability.

We offer personalized, one-on-one career coaching, resume and cover letter writing support, mock job interviews, access to job training and community support services, networking, self-paced online learning resources, and more.

Personalized Career Support

We can help you discover what is important to you in a career, understand your strengths and skills and how you may use them to get the job you want, explore career options, and gain skills to conduct informational interviews to learn more about your job of interest.

We can help you write a resume and cover letter, prepare for an in-person or virtual job interview, understand behaviors expected in a professional setting, learn strategies for networking and making career connections, and find current job openings in Vermont.

We can help you practice self-advocacy at work, set short and long-term career goals, foster a growth mindset to develop professionally, and support you to succeed in your job.

We can help you understand your cash flow, manage your bills, and keep a little more in the bank each month by creating a spending plan with a focus on choice, mindfulness, and what’s important to you.

Explore our free, online learning courses and resources to upskill and advance in your career journey. Build Your Skills offers self-paced video tutorials with quizzes to test your knowledge, online resources as guides, and templates and reference materials to help you along your career path.
