A Vermont workforce leader employed by the Vermont Business Roundtable, Mary Anne (she/her) runs the programs of the VBR Foundation, including Vermont Talent Pipeline, an employer-led framework for filling critical skills gaps. Mary Anne has a Master's in Business Administration and is a Project Management Professional focusing on employment and retention pipeline strategies. She lives in Shelburne and spends much of her summer on Lake St Catherine.
Monica (she/her) brings over 18 years of experience in the fire and water damage industries as VP at PuroClean & Construction Management Direct. She has held leadership roles across operations, business management, project management, and sales. As a partner in these sister companies, Monica is the liaison between the cleanup and rebuild process for customers experiencing property damage. Monica resides in Burlington with her blended family of six.
Kevin (he/him) is a civil litigation attorney at the law firm of Sheehey Furlong & Behm P.C. Originally from Albany, New York, Kevin moved to Vermont to attend UVM more than a decade ago and, aside from a stint out-of-state to attend law school, never left. Kevin is excited to work with VWW to empower women and girls to find enriching work in an ever-evolving employment landscape. Kevin lives in Burlington with his wife, and enjoys crossword puzzles, trivia, and hiking.
Doug (he/him) has over 30 years of professional experience in Finance, Operations, and IT. He is the Principal at GoldPath Partners LLC - and is a contract CFO for mid-sized companies. He also develops and invests in solar projects in Vermont. Doug has an MBA and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Vermont. Doug also serves on the board of ECHO and enjoys skiing, sailing, hiking, biking, cooking and time with his wife, son, and daughter.
Kirstin (she/her) brings over 15 years of experience in higher education and workforce development programming and policy. As the Senior Director of Outreach, Research and Development. Kirstin leads a team that supports students across Vermont to pursue education and training after high school. Her experience and expertise are focused on the intersection of the labor market and higher education. She lives in Burlington with her husband and two sons.
Vicki (she/her) is Director of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at DLH Corp, where she leads a team in designing and analyzing health research studies for federal government clients. Vicki transitioned to public health from a first career in aerospace engineering and is excited to work with VWW in expanding career choices for Vermont women and girls. Outside work, Vicki is passionate about chocolate and has never found a trail that she didn't want to run or hike.
Caitlin Goss (she/her) is the VP of HR & Chief People Officer at Middlebury College where she oversees the development and implementation of people strategy to fuel a skilled, engaged, and diverse workforce. Caitlin is passionate about removing barriers to access for women and supporting people to find rewarding and engaging work - and is excited to support VWW. Caitlin lives in Charlotte with her husband and young son and enjoys skiing and hiking in the Vermont mountains.
Tom De Moya (he/him) is the Senior Product Manager at Cox Automotive. Passionate about the intersection of education and economic outcomes, Tom was able to study this relationship at Union College. Tom settled in Vermont spending eight years in an analytics capacity with Dealer.com. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Tom enjoys Lake Champlain to the fullest spending summers exploring its deep blue waters.
Rhiannon (she/her) is the Operations Director and Strategist for Birdseye, a residential Building and Architecture company in Vermont, where she focuses on ensuring the company, departments and individuals are set up for success. She graduated from Vermont Technical College with a degree in Architecture and Building Engineering Technology and the University of Vermont where she earned a degree in Sustainability and Preservation of the Built and Natural Worlds. After transitioning from architecture to solar, she became familiar with VWW and has become increasingly dedicated to ensuring there are opportunities for women, LGBTQ+ and BIPOC people in the trades. Rhiannon lives in New Haven and she spends her weekends skiing, biking and camping in the forest with her husband.
Amber (she/her) serves as the Director of Construction and Asset Management at Encore Renewable Energy. Having a wide variety of experience in the Vermont solar industry, she has worked as a residential PV installer and service technician, as well as a commercial solar evaluator, designer, site supervisor, and operations and maintenance manager. She is a licensed electrician in Vermont and holds the NABCEP PV Installation Professional certification. Amber is passionate about the intersection of solar and farming, and is on the Board of Advisors for the American Solar Grazing Association. An advocate for increasing diversity in the renewable energy and trade industries, Amber has been an instructor and mentor for participants in a variety of VWW programs: Trailblazers, Women Can Do, Rosie’s Girls, and LIFT. Amber enjoys DIY house projects, gardening, CrossFit, and spending time in nature with her wife and young family.
Jessica (she/her) started her career at Collins Aerospace as a mechanical engineer after graduating from Cornell University. In her 18-year career as a licensed mathematics educator, Jessica created programs to inspire and prepare children to enter STEM fields. She now applies her skills at Rhino Foods as the Learning and Development Manager. Jessica is a certified PMP, and she dabbles in endurance athletics, reads, gardens, and enjoys “glamping” with her husband and two sons.
As Vice President at Vermont Center for Emerging Technologies (VCET), Sam (she/her) consults with 100’s of entrepreneurs every year. At VCET, Sam started the Female Founders Speaker Series, and created and co-hosts, Start Here: “A podcast sharing the stories of active, aspiring, and accidental entrepreneurs.” In 2020, Sam was named the recipient of Vermont’s ATHENA Leadership Award. Sam enjoys spending time outside with her husband, Jeremy, and their son Lochlan.
Tiffanie (she/her) serves as the Director for Diversity and Community Engagement in the College of Education and Social Services at UVM. Her role provides leadership in facilitating community partnerships to expand diversity-, equity-, and justice-centered initiatives for the college. Her work focuses on collaboration with local and national organizations to develop accessible pathways for University of Vermont students, faculty, and staff from historically underrepresented backgrounds.
Joy (she/her) is the owner of JVP Creative Solutions, a national consultancy specializing in learning and development. Her background includes roles as the head of learning technology and innovation at a global neuroscience research institute, cognitive division manager for a defense simulator training company, and Captain in the US Army Military Police Corps. She holds an MS in Organizational Leadership and a Doctorate in Educational Technology. Additionally, Joy is actively involved in her local career technical education center, where she leads legislative and outreach initiatives. In her spare time, she enjoys biking and cooking with her partner, David.
Carol (she/her) is Vice President of East Region Operations at Franklin Energy. She grew up in Winooski, Vermont and graduated from the University of Vermont with a Civil Engineering degree. It was at UVM where she was introduced to VWW, as a surveying teacher in the StepUp program. She worked in municipal engineering and construction for many years before moving to the energy efficiency industry in 2012. Carol has been a Career Mentor in VWW’s career mentoring program since 2021.
