Rhoni (she/her) joined VWW as Executive Director in December 2019. She brings extensive experience as a leader, overseeing programs that promote social and economic opportunities for underserved populations. Rhoni is a graduate of the University of San Francisco where she studied Sociology, Law and Society, and spent her early career working in early childhood education and development. She lives in Essex with her husband and two young sons.

As Director of Finance and Operations, Suzanne (she/her) loves working behind the scenes to keep VWW running strong and efficiently. Suzanne comes with 20 years of experience in program and office administration at non-profits in Washington D.C. and Vermont. Suzanne lives in Montpelier with her husband and son, and likes to bike, bake, and organize vacations with her friends who live far away.

As Director of Development and Communications, Maisie (she/her) helps to ensure organizational sustainability through fundraising. Prior to joining VWW, she led development efforts for the Green Mountain Club and Hunger Free Vermont and served for seven years on the board of Rokeby Museum. Maisie enjoys playing in the woods with her two small kids, sewing, baking, and cross-country skiing.

Alison (she/her) is a nonprofit leader with more than 20 years of experience delivering and managing people-centered nonprofit programming in Colorado and Vermont. In her current role, she oversees all programming at VWW, and leads gender equity training and professional development for schools, tech centers, and employers. Alison enjoys trying new recipes, hiking, kayaking, and visiting beaches in her native Rhode Island.

Megg (she/her) joined VWW in 2024 after a career in college athletics. She champions equity, opportunity, and leadership development in her role at VWW, managing career training and exploration programs for youth and adult women in Vermont. She enjoys listening to audiobooks, laughing at a good meme, and going on adventures with her family.

Missy (she/her) came to VWW in 2017 from a career in education and is manager of the Trailblazers program as well as a Gender Equity facilitator. She loves collaborating with local partners and her awesome colleagues to develop programs which expand opportunities for women. Missy can be found gardening, hooking rugs, volunteering for Let’s Grow Kids, and enjoying Lake Champlain with her family, including Chopper the rescue dog.

Heather (she/her) plays a leading role with VWW programs for incarcerated women both during incarceration and their re-entry transition. Heather has overcome many of the same barriers our clients face and brings that lived experience to her clients to ignite motivation and manifests hope. She is an advocate for strong communities where all members thrive, and advocates for those who lack a voice of their own.

Paige (she/her) joined VWW in March 2021 and provides career coaching and job search support. She draws on over 20 years of experience in the corporate world as a “people” consultant. As a certified life coach, she brings her passion for assisting adults in achieving their personal and professional goals. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, participating in winter activities, walking her dog, and spending time on the lake.

Margaret (she/her) joined VWW in August 2023 following over 20 years of experience working in support of equity, access, and inclusion for individuals with disabilities. As Gender Equity Services Manager, Margaret supports VWW’s employer and school gender equity programs, workshops, trainings, and contracted services, as well as the Gender Equity Advancement Roundtable (GEAR). Outside of VWW, Margaret may be found teaching comprehensive sexuality education to youth and adults and reveling in the joy of the Vermont outdoors with her family.

Cody (she/her) comes to VWW with over nine years of nonprofit experience as an animal shelter administrator and vet technician at North Country Animal League. As, HR generalist and bookkeeper, she loves getting to meet new people and helping wherever and however she can. In her free time, you can usually find her working on a piece of art, homesteading, or hanging out with her many animals and two children.

Jillian (she/her) joined VWW in 2021 to support fundraising and marketing initiatives. She also supports the team with the coordination of Trailblazers and VWW's advocacy efforts. In her role, Jillian appreciates the opportunity to collaborate with staff across programs. She graduated from the University of Vermont in 2020. In her free time, Jillian enjoys going on adventures with her dog Maple.

Julia (she/her) comes to the team with years of experience in anti-violence work, advocacy, and employment preparation for young adults with disabilities. She holds a BS in Criminal Justice. Julia works with women in the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility on job readiness and oversees the in-facility worker program. She also runs several groups available to all women at CRCF. Julia enjoys taking her dog on walks, spin classes, and anything to do with video or board games.

Ellen (she/her) joins the team with a background in visual communications, marketing, and graphic design. As a former VWW program participant, she is dedicated to mission-driven work and understands the value of empowering and supporting women. Ellen helps VWW communicate effectively through engaging visuals and storytelling and to deliver strategies that support the organization's mission. Ellen loves making art, exploring new places, roller skating, and trying fun recipes.

Ada (she/her) comes to VWW with a background in management and program coordination. She graduated from the University of Vermont where she studied Sociology and Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies. As a native Vermonter and former VWW program participant, she is passionate about the organization’s mission to empower girls and women around the state. In this role, Ada supports the development of youth programs and helps to make sure they run smoothly. In her free time, she can be found listening to music, baking, tending to her houseplants, or volunteering as a birth doula at UVMMC.

Sarah (she/her) comes to VWW with years of experience in STEM, summer camp/afterschool programming, and coaching lacrosse. She holds a BS in Environmental Science and an MS in Natural Resources both from the University of Vermont. She played Division 1 lacrosse at UVM and coaches all ages of lacrosse as an 802 coach and the head varsity coach at Burlington High School. Sarah enjoys indoor /outdoor recreation, being creative, and spending time with family and friends.
