Rosie’s Girls TECH in Burlington

by Jillian Scannell

Students at Rosie's Girls TECH camp explore STEM careers.
Feb. 24 - Feb. 28

Vermont Works for Women (VWW) is excited to offer a special Rosie’s Girls® TECH camp in partnership with Marvell Technology this coming February!

Join us February 24 – 28, 2025 for a full week of STEM empowerment and career exploration.

Rosie’s Girls TECH campers will spend a portion of each day learning from local STEM professionals. Through daily hands-on activities, campers will learn about different jobs, meet role models, and begin making connections between their own interests and passions and the opportunities ahead. Campers will have the opportunity to visit our partner, Marvell Technology, to learn about Vermont’s growing semiconductor industry.

Each day, VWW will pair fun, hands-on projects with Rosie’s Girls ® signature “Power Skills” curriculum. Power Skills activities and conversations are designed to expand campers’ self-confidence, sense of possibility, and connection with one another all while exploring topics important and relevant to middle school youth.

Rosie’s Girls is open to girls* in 6-7-8 grades. Youth from any school or town are welcome to participate. If you have any questions, reach out to our staff at rosiesgirls@vtworksforwomen.org.

*Rosie’s Girls welcomes into our program anyone who identifies as a girl regardless of assignment at birth. Our programs also welcome youth who are non-binary or gender expansive who are comfortable in a girl-centered space.
