Career Challenge Day at GMTCC

September 24th, 2026 by Jillian Scannell

Students try hands on activities at Career Challenge Day

February 12, 2027

Career Challenge Day gives middle schoolers a full day at Green Mountain Technology and Career Center to explore hands-on programs like automotive, construction, and more. Visiting students meet instructors, talk with current students, and try out real tools and equipment in the classroom.

It’s a low-pressure, welcoming space to explore what the tech center offers, so students can leave with a clearer sense of the career and education paths open to them in high school and beyond.

Career Challenge Day at Green Mountain Technology and Career Center will be hosted on Friday, February 12 and is open to female and gender-expansive students in grades 6-8 from area sending schools. Students should contact their guidance counselors to sign up.
