Open Positions

VWW seeks a resourceful and thoughtful person to join our team as the Justice Services Program Manager. This role will be responsible for our on-site programming and services at Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility (CRCF). The Justice Services Manager will lead programming and oversee the day-to-day operations of VWW’s justice services programming as outlined in our contract with the Vermont Department of Corrections (DOC).  The ideal candidate will be able to promote a supportive, accountable, and gender & trauma-informed environment while working directly with justice- involved women in facility With a mix of program development, implementation, and oversight of deliverables this position is vital in helping justice-involved women apply skills gained in facility to well-paying jobs when reentering the community. The role requires a high level of independence, sound judgment, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complex institutional environments, including conflict resolution and competing priorities.

Internships

Intern with VWW to contribute to the gender equity movement in Vermont, support community programming, upskill in certain areas, and learn the ins and outs of a small nonprofit.  

Internships at VWW can take a variety of formats: remote; onsite at our office in Winooski, VT; or hybrid.  Internships are unpaid, but eligible for academic credit. Internship hours are flexible depending on scheduling and academic requirements. Open internships are listed below; if no internships are listed, we do accept interns on a rolling basis throughout the year based on staff capacity.  

We are currently not seeking any interns.
