Save the date! Women Can Do, our one-day career exploration conference for high school girls, will take place October 10th in Randolph. VT employers are invited to participate in the Action Expo, Resource Fair, and as a sponsor of the event!

VWW is partnering with Vermont Adult Learning to offer an 8-week training program for women ages 18+ in basic construction, weatherization, and heat pump installation. Trailblazers: Energy Works starts October 1 in Rutland.

VWW at Green Mountain Aviation Field Days

Vermont Works for Women will be exhibiting at Green Mountain Aviation Field Days September 14 – 15 at the Burlington Airport. Green Mountain Aviation Field Days will be a weekend of celebrating the “Past, Present, and Future of Aviation” with a heavy emphasis on aviation education and STEM. Folks will have the opportunity to learn from owners and pilots, tour aircraft, and explore the aviation industry. There will also be food trucks, beverages, and bands playing throughout the day.

We will be exhibiting in the STEM Hangar, come say hi and learn more about how to get involved in our programs!
