Female and gender-expansive individuals interested in starting a career in the trades should join VWW at a Trailblazers Job Fair in South Burlington on Thursday, May 2 from 5:30 PM– 7:00 PM.
Employers will introduce themselves to the group at the beginning and will then be tabling as Trailblazers graduates, alum, and other folks have the opportunity to talk with them. We’ve been trying a new “speed-dating style” job fair where small groups of people rotate through different employers for a set time period and then move on to the next. This allows everyone to talk with all the employers to get their questions answered, while also providing a welcoming space for fruitful discussions between employers and possible job applicants.
