At Career Challenge Day at RTCC, a tech center student shows a middle schooler how to use a backhoe
March 24, 2026

At Career Challenge Day, middle school students explore their local technical center through a hands-on event, trying activities in program areas like welding, automotive, and construction led by tech center students and instructors.

If you’ve ever wondered how to change a tire, use a hammer, or how the electricity in your house works, this is a day for you! Together we’ll explore all the possibilities that are open to you at Randolph Technical Career Center (RTCC). Vermont Works for Women has been hosting Career Challenge Day at RTCC for over 20 years!

Career Challenge Day at RTCC is open to female and gender-expansive students in grades 6-8 from area sending schools. Students should contact their guidance counselors to sign up.
