GEAR Quarterly Session – March

by Jillian Scannell

A hand lays on a computer where there is a virtual meeting taking place, exemplifying Vermont Works for Women's virtual Gender Equity Advancement Roundtable (GEAR) membership program.
March 12, 2025

VWW’s Gender Equity Advancement Roundtable (GEAR) is a space for businesses, nonprofits, schools, and advocates to learn about best practices and policies for supporting women in the workplace. For a one-time annual fee, GEAR members receive an invitation to four roundtable sessions each year, where they have the opportunity to hear from gender equity experts and network with other professionals who are equally invested in supporting women’s economic independence.

March Pay Equity GEAR Session

Our March GEAR session will be a special 2-hour online event examining the current state of Pay Equity in Vermont workplaces. We will explore some of the work being done in the state by employers and organizations supporting pay equity and hear what some current barriers to advancing pay equity are, based on the results of a survey of employers, including many of you, that was completed this fall.

Registration is open to all GEAR member employers and their staff, as well as employers who have previously signed the Vermont Equal Pay Compact

If you are already a GEAR member, email Margaret at moverman@vtworksforwomen.org to get the meeting link.
