Get Involved as a Parent
Raising strong and independent daughters is hard work! Through our blend of hands-on experiences and discussions, we help girls broaden, develop and strengthen their capabilities and confidence.
We can’t do this work alone, and look forward to being an ally with you in building strong girls.
How can you help?
- Encourage your daughter to challenge herself – academically, creatively and physically.
- Support your son and daughter in questioning stereotypes. Talk with your kids about how girls and women (and boys and men, too!) are portrayed by media – magazines, tv, movies and music.
- Help children speak up and speak out and make their voice be heard. And listen.
Our largest program for girls is Rosie’s Girls, a three week camp for girls entering the 6th-8th grades, which is offered in Vermont as well as several locations nationally.
“My daughter looked forward to coming EVERY DAY –
she loved this camp better than any she has ever attended.”
